The Role
A senior-level project management position with full ownership of multiple concurrent civil engineering projects from conception through construction administration. You'll lead client relationships, manage financial performance, coordinate across internal disciplines, and mentor project engineers and designers.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple civil engineering projects simultaneously across all phases of design and delivery
- Serve as primary client contact throughout the full project lifecycle
- Prepare and negotiate proposals and contracts with clients and sub-consultants
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, scheduling, and accounts receivable
- Coordinate with internal disciplines including architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical teams
- Oversee site layout, utility and stormwater design, permitting, and construction administration
- Manage, develop, and mentor project engineers and designers
- Identify and pursue new client relationships and growth opportunities
- Implement QA/QC practices and provide risk assessment across projects
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of civil engineering project management experience in site/civil production
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office
- Experience with commercial project types preferred (retail, hospitality, fueling, or similar)
- Strong client communication, financial management, and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
- PE license
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary project teams
- Familiarity with Washington State permitting and design standards
- Track record of business development and client retention
Compensation
- $115,000 to $190,000 depending on experience, plus performance-based bonus
