Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Compensation: $200,000 - $275,000 + Bonus + Long-Term Incentive Opportunities
A local well-established consulting engineering firm is seeking a senior leader to help guide and grow its Water/Wastewater practice in the Mountain West. This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced professional who enjoys a blend of technical leadership, client engagement, business development, and team development.
The firm has a strong reputation, an established client base, and a healthy backlog of municipal water and wastewater projects. Leadership is committed to long-term growth and is looking for someone who can help shape the future direction of the practice while mentoring the next generation of engineers and project managers.
What You'll Do
- Lead the delivery of municipal water and wastewater projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with utilities, municipalities, and key stakeholders.
- Provide strategic direction for practice growth and market expansion.
- Mentor engineers, project managers, and emerging leaders.
- Support proposal development, pursuit strategies, and business planning.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on staffing, resource planning, and operational initiatives.
- Help establish and execute long-term vision for the practice.
What We're Looking For
- 15+ years of experience in water and/or wastewater engineering consulting.
- Proven experience managing client relationships and leading project teams.
- Track record of winning work and growing municipal client accounts.
- Strong understanding of treatment, conveyance, utility infrastructure, capital improvement programs, or related municipal water projects.
- PE license required.
- Experience leading teams, business units, or regional practices is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
