Structural Engineer
A respected multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm is seeking a Structural Engineer with 4 to 10 years of experience to join its growing team in the Phoenix area. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed PE who is looking to work on a diverse portfolio of projects and gain exposure to all phases of structural design and construction.
In this role, you will contribute to the analysis and design of concrete, steel, wood, and masonry structures across a variety of market sectors. Engineers are given the opportunity to work on projects from concept through construction, collaborate directly with senior leadership, coordinate with architects and other disciplines, and engage with clients, contractors, and public agencies throughout the project lifecycle. The position also offers mentorship opportunities and increasing project leadership responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 4 to 10 years of structural engineering experience
- Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering
- SE license or pursuit of licensure
- Experience designing commercial and industrial structures
- Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA, RAM, ENERCALC, or similar programs
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Desire to grow professionally within a collaborative and team-oriented environment
