Desired Skills and Experience
- Responsible for structural analysis, design, and detailing of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems
- Communicate with clients to understand project requirements
- Plan and formulate engineering program and organize project staff according to project requirements
- Perform analysis and design of structural systems for all types of buildings and materials using various building codes
- Manage other design team members and supervise the work of engineers and draft persons
- Direct project staff in preparing contract documents, such as drawings and specifications
Your Role:
- The Role as a Project Engineer to join our Structural Practice and work on medium to large-size projects such as mission critical facilities, aviation projects, commercial developments, and other complex structures
- Other projects include cultural buildings, office buildings, residential buildings, healthcare facilities, research centers, and tenant renovation work
- Responsibilities assist in the direction, coordination, planning, organization, integration, and completion of engineering projects within the area of assigned responsibility
- Communicate with clients to understand project requirements
- Plan and formulate engineering program and organize project staff according to project requirements
- Perform analysis and design of structural systems for all types of buildings and materials using various building codes
- Manage other design team members and supervise the work of engineers and draft persons
- Direct project staff in preparing contract documents, such as drawings and specifications
What they're Looking For:
- 4-6 years of structural engineering experience with a focus on structural design
- Must have a Masters degreee
- Strong proficiency in structural analysis software, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- PE License preferred (or ability to obtain in the near future).
- Exceptional problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
