The client is a leading global provider of innovative water treatment solutions, with a focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility. With a strong presence in the ASEAN region, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join the team in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a business plan for the water treatment applications business in the ASEAN region
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the region, including market research and competitor analysis
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design and develop innovative solutions that meet customer needs and drive growth
- Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and innovation
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of the business plan and performance metrics
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field
- At least 8 years of experience in business development or sales in the water treatment industry, with a strong understanding of water treatment applications
- Experience working in the ASEAN region and familiarity with the local market dynamics and regulations
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and profitability in a business development role
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel as needed
