How You'll Contribute to the Team: Responsibilities
Confirm the Bill of Materials (BOM) correlates with the functional and architectural criteria in design packages, ensuring client expectations are met
Create/modify AV system schematics in AutoCAD
Develop cable run lists ensuring they meet conduit fill requirements and match the system design packages
Meet project, departmental, and organizational milestones provided by all project stakeholders
Provide supervision, direction, and be held accountable for the technical functionality of integrated AV systems on projects
Collaborate with Control Systems Programmers to develop client Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs), as well as system functionality documents such as a Theory of Operation
Create, modify, and test audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) programs
Perform verification of system functionality in Quality Control (QC) Testing, prior to systems shipping to client facilities
Provide technical support to AV Installers, Technicians, and Field Engineers who are troubleshooting and/or commissioning components in an integrated system
Provide training and mentoring of AV Installers, Technicians, and Field Engineers (as applicable)
Perform Final Approval Level Checkout of integrated systems at client facilities
Conduct or assist Field Engineers with end-user training (as applicable)
When required, travel outside metro NY area for project and role responsibilities
What You'll Need to be Successful: Competencies + Skills
Familiarity and ability to use multimeters, digital and analog test generators, and other electronic test meters required for Final Approval Level Checkouts
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Detail-oriented and collaborative team player
Ability to follow and enforce process and procedure
Experience with configuring and performing diagnostics of traditional video conferencing codecs (Cisco, Poly, etc.)
Experience with configuring and performing diagnostics of USB and UCC conference kits (Logitech, Poly, Cisco, HP, Lenovo, Crestron, etc.)
Computer proficiency with experience in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office programs, remote control systems (Crestron, AMX) and audio digital signal processing (DSP) programs (ClearOne, Biamp, Poly, etc.)
Networking proficiency including the ability to configure switch and devices. Work with client IT departments to create enterprise deployment standards

What We Require for the Role: Qualifications + Certifications
AVIXA CTS is required, CTS-D is preferred
Minimum of at least one audio digital signal processing (DSP) certification (QSC, Biamp, Symetrix, Poly, etc.)
Must possess a valid driver's license
Ability to pass drug and background screenings required
