We are currently working with a globally establish Renewable Energy developer who are now looking to add to their fast growing team in Korea. They are searching for an experienced Business developer to further expand their project portfolio within the Korean Peninsula.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify solar PV, wind power and ESS project and investment opportunities within the Korean peninsula
- Collaborate with development partners to manage permitting and development processes from initial acquisition to RTB
- Present development opportunities to senior management conducting necessary analysis of financial models, permitting status and other critical technological and economic factors
- Work closely with in-house investment, technical, and legal teams in the acquisition and negotiation of greenfield and brownfield project portfolios
- Keep abreast of policy changes, Energy and RE market developments and identify mid to long-term business opportunities
- Support memo and data preparation for investment committees - including risk management strategies
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in energy and/or infrastructure projects, Experience in renewable energy preferred
- Professional fluency in both Korean and English, written and verbal
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Law, Finance)
- Understanding and experience in stakeholder management - local authorities, government entities, local communities and relevant associations
- Understanding of PMP or project management methodology is a plus
- Technical engineering or financial modeling capability is a plus
