Requirements:
- CSST (Certified Site Surveillance Technician) certification is mandatory.
- Additional certifications such as CMI (Certified Mold Inspector) and CDPH (California Department of Public Health) certification for mold and lead are preferable but not required.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience conducting fieldwork related to hazardous building materials, particularly asbestos.
Desired Qualifications:
- Motivated to pursue CAC (Certified Asbestos Consultant) certification.
- Interest in transitioning towards Project Management within the field of environmental consulting.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting field assessments and surveys to identify asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) and other hazardous substances in buildings.
- Collecting samples and overseeing laboratory analysis of materials.
- Implementing and monitoring asbestos abatement projects.
- Adhering to regulatory standards and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborating with project teams to achieve client objectives.
