Responsibilities:
As the Chief Geotechnical Engineer, you will:
Provide Leadership: Lead and manage the geotechnical engineering department, providing guidance and mentorship to a team of talented professionals.
Project Management: Oversee geotechnical aspects of projects from conception to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to timelines.
Technical Expertise: Bring your expertise in geotechnical engineering to the table, providing technical guidance and support to project teams.
Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring the successful delivery of geotechnical services.
Business Development: Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and participating in client presentations.
Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of geotechnical engineering services.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects and teams.
Professional Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering innovative solutions.
