A new opportunity has arisen for an Estimator to join a leading contractor within the electric power delivery sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating transmission, distribution, and substation projects in Florida. The candidate may remotely, but must be able to travel and go into the office in Jacksonville when needed.
Responsibilities
The Estimator will be responsible for the following:
- Preparing estimates for transmission, distribution, and substation projects
- Collaborating with the project team to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction
- Reviewing and interpreting project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare accurate estimates
- Providing technical support to the project team
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Preparing and submitting proposals to clients
Skills

- Experience working in transmission, distribution, and substation projects
- Experience working in a contractor environment

Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Project Management Experience
- Strong knowledge of estimating tools and programs
- Ability to travel to job sites across FL
