Responsibilities:
- Conduct geotechnical investigations, including subsurface exploration and laboratory testing.
- Perform geotechnical analysis and design for transportation infrastructure projects, with a focus on TxDOT standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure the successful execution of geotechnical aspects of projects.
- Prepare geotechnical reports, feasibility studies, and design recommendations.
- Conduct field inspections, site visits, and construction monitoring.
- Utilize geotechnical software and tools to analyze and interpret data.
- Interface with clients and regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance with TxDOT standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of geotechnical engineering experience, with a focus on TxDOT projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas.
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT standards and specifications.
- Proficiency in geotechnical analysis software and tools.
