Are you an Geotechnical Engineer looking for a dynamic opportunity to showcase your expertise?
We are representing an established multi-disciplinary firm based in Ohio looking to grow there Geotechnical team with this they are hiring a Geotechnical Practitioner lead who has the ambition to grow into a Director position within 5 years!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and conduct comprehensive field investigations, utilizing engineering analyses to provide expert recommendations.
- Spearhead and manage geotechnical explorations, overseeing soils/materials testing and ensuring high-quality lab maintenance.
- Collaborate closely with clients to deliver outstanding customer service and strategically plan subsurface investigation programs.
- Take charge of reviewing construction drawings for adherence to plans and specifications.
- Assume a leadership role in preparing proposals, cost estimates, and conducting thorough project progress evaluations.
- Proactively research and address design and construction challenges, leveraging expertise to find effective solutions.
- Lead the review and evaluation of laboratory or field data, ensuring accurate and relevant information is included in reports.
- Effectively communicate complex engineering issues and concepts to diverse audiences, both technical and non-technical.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's preferred).
- 15+ years of experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
- Proficiency in common Geotechnical software.
- Valid driver's license
- Self-motivated, reliable, quality-minded, and detail-oriented.
