This position is with a 100% employee owned consulting firm of more than 2500 employees. This is a multidisciplinary, award winning national firm that's ranked in the top 100 engineering design firms.
Position Summary: Responsible for delivering all project objectives for assigned projects and manage relationships with local clients.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepares invoices while keeping an eye on deadlines, finances, accounts receivable, and the need for more staff.
- Create project management strategies for the given projects.
- Identify project costs and budgets.
- Establish and uphold project timetables
- Create and keep up-to-date project-specific quality plans.
- Establish and organize the project's scope.
- control the design process and the subcontractors
- Attend client presentations.
- directing and managing the designated team members on the project
- Take charge of all the project team's technical resources.
- Creation of open-ended contract task proposals and requests for additional work orders
- Work with practice leaders, office managers, and section heads to coordinate and assist with marketing proposals.
Required Experience:
- Texas PE License
- 10+ years in highway or traffic engineering
- Proficient in Microsoft office
Preferred Experience:
- PMP or PTOE
- Experience working with local and state clients
Salary ranges 130,000-200,000 depending on experience
