We are partnered with a leading Geotechnical firm with a growing presence in Houston, orchastrated by billion dollar financial backing. They currently have a huge backlog of projects and are looking for a Lead Geotechnical Engineer to come in and carry the projects to the success they are similarly seeing across the US.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Lead and manage geotechnical projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Technical Expertise: Provide technical leadership in geotechnical engineering, including site investigations, soil testing, foundation design, slope stability analysis, and seismic assessments.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and integration of geotechnical considerations into overall project design and execution.
Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering innovative and effective geotechnical solutions.
Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality assurance and control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of geotechnical data and reports.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of local and national regulations related to geotechnical engineering and ensure that all projects adhere to these standards.
Mentorship and Development: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior geotechnical engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas.
Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering, with a track record of successful project management.
Strong proficiency in geotechnical analysis software and tools.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
