Our client is seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Pittsburg. As a leader, you will manage not only your own workload but also lead engineering projects and oversee teams within our entire office. We are looking for someone who has extensive experience working with mechanical systems, possesses excellent communication skills, can work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the project
- Oversee design development from concept through construction documents
- Collaborate closely with clients on MEP design solutions that meet performance objectives.
- Directly supervise engineers assigned to specific tasks or areas of responsibility
Qualifications:
The following qualifications would be advantageous when applying for this position;
1) Bachelor's degree (or higher) in mechanical engineering,
2) A minimum 5 years' relevant industry experience managing multiple complex technical projects simultaneously
3) Professional Engineering License required; LEED certification preferred
Skills Required:
To succeed as a senior engineer we require candidates possess some key skills including;
1) Advanced knowledge of HVAC system analysis/design software such LVI "Load Calculation" programs,
2 ) Ability to understand electrical schematics & sizing motors/compressors/transformers etc.,
3 ) Experience identifying potential hazards using HAZOP studies along with safety training certificates like OSHA /NEBOSH certifications,
