Installation and Configuration:
- Oversee the installation of security systems, including surveillance cameras, access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and other related equipment.
- Configure and program security devices to meet specific requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Integrate various security components to create a cohesive and effective security infrastructure.
- Connect security systems with other building automation systems or networks for centralized monitoring and control.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough testing of security systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Identify and rectify any issues or deficiencies in the system.
- Perform quality assurance checks to guarantee the reliability and effectiveness of the security infrastructure.
Maintenance and Upgrades:
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for security systems.
- Respond promptly to system malfunctions or failures and perform necessary repairs.
- Stay informed about technological advancements and recommend system upgrades to enhance security capabilities.
Training and Documentation:
- Provide training to end-users or security personnel on the proper use and maintenance of security systems.
- Create and maintain documentation, including system manuals, schematics, and troubleshooting guides.
What Can You Bring?
- 5 + Years experience of the installation, servicing and programming of electronic security systems.
- Possess strong organizational skills.
- Ability to lead and train other technicians.
- System experience with Ccure9000, AMAG, Genetec, Lenel, DMP, Brivo & Bosch is a plus.
- Open to travelling up to 2 hours to sites.
- Relationship building personality for customer interactions.
