Position Overview:
As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in water and wastewater projects, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and optimization of mechanical systems within our projects. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, project managers, and technicians to ensure the successful delivery of cutting-edge solutions in the water and wastewater industry.

Responsibilities:
Develop detailed mechanical designs for water and wastewater treatment systems, pump stations, and related infrastructure.
Conduct feasibility studies and engineering analyses to assess the viability and efficiency of mechanical systems.
Manage and coordinate mechanical engineering aspects of water and wastewater projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
Ensure that all mechanical designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals for mechanical systems.
Implement and oversee quality control processes for mechanical systems, ensuring that designs meet or exceed performance expectations.
Conduct thorough reviews and evaluations of mechanical components to identify areas for improvement.
Work closely with procurement teams to source and select mechanical components and equipment.
Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality materials within specified timelines.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Holds a CPEng and/or NER will be highly preferred
5+ years of proven experience in the design and implementation of mechanical systems for water and wastewater projects.
Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solidworks
Excellent project management and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
