Responsibilities:
Design and Engineering: Develop and oversee the design of mechanical systems for industrial projects, including HVAC, plumbing, ventilation, and fire protection. Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Project Management: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage projects from conception to completion. Responsible for creating project timelines, budgets, and tracking progress throughout the project lifecycle.
Procurement: Work closely with vendors and suppliers to source high-quality materials and equipment for project implementation while optimizing costs and adhering to project specifications.
Quality Control: Perform thorough inspections and quality control checks during various project stages to ensure that mechanical systems meet the highest standards of safety and performance.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues related to mechanical systems during project execution, providing efficient and effective solutions.
Documentation: Create detailed engineering documentation, including technical drawings, reports, and project documentation, for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on industrial projects. Experience in managing projects from concept to completion is highly desirable.
Licensure: Professional Engineering (PE) license in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar), and familiarity with engineering simulation software is advantageous.
Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, and fire protection standards in the context of industrial projects.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a demonstrated track record of delivering practical and efficient solutions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
