Position Overview: They are in search of a dynamic and seasoned Principal Geotechnical Engineer to lead and contribute to their geotechnical engineering projects. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and executing geotechnical investigations, analyses, and designs, while providing technical leadership to a team of engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and oversee geotechnical projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Technical Leadership: Offer technical expertise and guidance in geotechnical engineering, covering foundation design, slope stability analysis, retaining wall design, and soil-structure interaction.
- Client Interaction: Foster and sustain strong relationships with clients, comprehending their needs and expectations to deliver customized solutions.
- Team Collaboration: Head a team of geotechnical engineers and collaborate with other disciplines to provide integrated and comprehensive engineering solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations and company norms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, emphasizing project management and technical leadership.
- Proven experience in geotechnical investigations, laboratory testing, and engineering analyses.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software and analytical tools.
