Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage a team of mechanical and electrical engineers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and expertise in mechanical engineering principles and practices, ensuring high-quality design solutions and adherence to industry standards.
- Design and Analysis: Lead the design and analysis of mechanical systems, components, and equipment, utilizing advanced software tools and methodologies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, civil engineers, and project managers to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly within data center projects.
- Client Engagement: Interface with clients to understand project requirements, provide technical solutions, and address concerns, ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining positive relationships.
- Mentorship and Development: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and development within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience (typically 8-10+ years) in mechanical engineering design and project management, preferably in building services or data center projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
