This firm is looking for a 15+ years of experience land development engineer who can come in as a Vice President in the Dallas, TX office. This engineer will have an extensive experience in both single-family and multi-family residential developments, as well as commercial or industrial site development projects. The engineer will have an experience in business development, client management, mentoring and training, project research and able to lead an office.
Requirements:
- BSc in Civil Engineering or relevant degree
- E License in Texas
- 15+ Years of experience in land development
- Strong in Business Development and Client Interaction
- Experience in producing accurate and complete plans and reports
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Ability to train, mentor and guide staff. - review work for quality.
- Solid management and leadership skills.
- Able to meet deadlines, satisfy clients and solve complex problems.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD & Civil 3D.
Brief Responsibilities:
- Identify contacts, clients, and opportunities for new work.
- Train, mentor, and guide staff
- Grow the Land Development group.
- Ensure senior project managers, project managers and the team have resources necessary to meet scheduling and budgeting on projects.
- Interface daily with clients, develop proposals, scopes and fees, ensure billing and collections.
- Strategic planning of land development marketing.
- Responsible for assigned portion of office sales goals.
- Direct a staff with varied level of experience and expertise.
- Ensure quality control measures are being adhered to project delivery.
