Description of Duties:
The Project Manager's primary function is to provide oversight of project operations, management and direction of Superintendents and Technical field employees, and develop and maintain solid client relationships.
Reporting to the Vice President, Operations, our Project Managers ensure that all project operations resources are managed and coordinated in an efficient and professional manner in order to safely execute work within budget and on schedule. The Project Managers exercise discretion over, and are responsible for, the following:
- Safe execution of the work;
- Plan, schedule, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget;
- Project administration, including cost control, schedule control, client reporting and change orders;
- Manage and monitor progress against client requirements and established schedules;
- Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules;
- Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff;
- Oversight of Quality Control/Quality Assurance Teams
Minimum Requirements:
- 15 years progressive experience in civil construction, most of which in the field;
- 3-5 years as a Project Manager running geotechnical/grouting projects - minimum job value should be $5M;
- Engineering Degree or Technologist Diploma or equivalent experience;
- Experience in the areas of drilling and grouting for seepage mitigation, compensation grouting;
- Comprehensive computer skills (Outlook/Word/Excel);
- Professional proficiency English language communication skills, both written and oral;
- Able to safely and freely access and work in all parts of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments (heat/cold; rain/snow);
- Willingness to relocate (preference) or travel on rotation (an option) to Washington state; and
- Legally authorized to work for all employers in the United States.
