Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your expertise as an RCDD to design and develop low-voltage systems, including structured cabling, network infrastructure, security systems, audiovisual solutions, and more.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements, goals, and constraints, ensuring that the design solutions align with their expectations.
- Employ industry standards, regulations, and best practices to create innovative and efficient designs that deliver exceptional performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Prepare detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and cost estimates, providing clear instructions for implementation.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and advancements in low-voltage systems, constantly enhancing your knowledge and skill set.
- Engage in business development activities, actively participating in client meetings, proposals, presentations, and networking events.
- Identify new business opportunities, nurture existing client relationships, and contribute to the growth and expansion of our firm's client base.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop persuasive materials, demonstrate our firm's expertise, and deliver outstanding client presentations.
Qualifications:
- Certified as a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) with a solid understanding of low-voltage systems design principles.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing low-voltage systems, including structured cabling, network infrastructure, security systems, audiovisual solutions, and related technologies.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices, such as ANSI/TIA, ISO/IEC, and BICSI guidelines.
- Proficient in using industry-specific design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
