The client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Business Development Manager to join the APAC team. The client is a global Waste Management and Environmental Solutions firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies to drive growth and profitability within the assigned region. This role requires an individual who is knowledgeable about the waste management industry in the APAC region, and who has a proven track record of building successful business relationships with key stakeholders.
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue and market share within the assigned region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, key decision-makers, and industry partners.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive landscape.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals.
- Develop and deliver presentations to potential clients, industry partners, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, finance, and customer service, to ensure the successful delivery of services to clients.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the waste management industry in Singapore.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong knowledge of the waste management industry in Singapore, including regulations, trends, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Ability to travel within the region as needed.
