Job Title: Regional Business Development Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in the solar industry. As a pivotal member of our organization, you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with our customers, primarily managing communications with their regional offices based in Singapore. The successful candidate will serve as the main point of contact for pre-sales, commissioning, and post-sales activities, ensuring seamless collaboration between internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key customers, focusing on regional offices in Singapore.
- Act as the primary point of contact for pre-sales, commissioning, and post-sales activities.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Communication and Coordination:
- Facilitate proactive communication between internal teams, including sales, engineering, and support departments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely resolution of customer issues.
- Provide regular updates to management on project status, customer feedback, and market trends.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of the solar industry, with a focus on power electronics and utility-scale projects.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of solar electric systems, including PV and storage technologies.
- Contribute to system design discussions, offering technical insights and recommendations.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region to expand market presence.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for customer acquisition and retention.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in the Solar Industry, preferably with a focus on power electronics and utility-scale projects.
- Technical expertise in solar electric systems, including PV and Storage.
- Proven track record in business development and customer relationship management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- Willingness to travel
