They have an immediate need for a Chemical Sales Team Lead located anywhere on the East Coast. This is a remote work position.
The Chemical Sales Team Lead is responsible for sales into the Water and Wastewater Treatment sector and will be responsible for their own sales as well as assisting the sales team as necessary. The Sales Lead position will service existing accounts and assist to increase sales. Both positions will work with a team of inside salespeople who are responsible for completing cold calls and generating leads.

Responsibilities for this position include:
- Developing innovative sales strategies to optimize the company's growing position in targeted markets.
- Fostering and nurturing meaningful relationships with customers through solution-driven, high-value sales and service.
- Building your own block of business through new customer acquisition and providing service and maintenance of existing customers within your target region. To do this, you must prospect for new customers, opportunities, and markets by generating leads, researching organizations, and developing personal marketing effort.
- Increasing the value of current customers.
- Developing and presenting quotes and proposals for customers.
- Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Negotiating all contracts and pricing quotes with current and prospective customers.
- Working closely with technical staff and R&D to determine unique solutions for each customer.
- Analyzing market/industry trends to determine new growth sectors or changes in the current customer base.

Qualifications for this position include:
- At least 5 years of experience in chemical sales preferably in the water/wastewater treatment marketplace with an established track record.
- Technical degree preferred.
The base salary for this position is commensurate with experience plus uncapped commissions, plus full benefits and vehicle expenses. This position is remote, but candidates are expected to travel throughout the territory as required.
