We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Geotechnical Project Engineer to join our team in Pasadena, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, interpreting, organizing, scheduling, and managing projects through all phases of development. The Senior Geotechnical Project Engineer will establish and monitor budgets, manage project teams, assist with project scheduling and billing, and maintain client relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience in all phases of geotechnical engineering, including materials testing and inspections, and a growing knowledge of project management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage geotechnical, forensic, and construction projects, including consulting with clients, design professionals, and contractors.
- Plan and participate in field assignments that will include observation of explorations, geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring, and inspection of construction of geotechnical structures.
- Establish and monitor budgets, manage project teams, assist with project scheduling and billing, and maintain client relationships.
- Demonstrate experience in all phases of geotechnical engineering, including materials testing and inspections, and a growing knowledge of project management.

Qualifications:
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering with Geotechnical Engineering concentration required. M.S. Degree in Geotechnical Engineering preferred.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required. Licensed Geotechnical Engineer (GE) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in geotechnical consulting.
- Experience interacting with clients and initiating business development.
