Job Title: Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Job Summary: The Senior Geotechnical Engineer will provide technical expertise and leadership in geotechnical engineering for a wide range of projects, including transportation, infrastructure, energy, and development projects. This position will be responsible for overseeing and leading geotechnical investigations, analysis, and design, as well as project management, staff mentoring, and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical expertise and leadership in geotechnical engineering for a wide range of projects, including transportation, infrastructure, energy, and development projects
* Manage and oversee geotechnical investigations, analysis, and design
* Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work
* Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and technical support
* Conduct site visits and field investigations to evaluate subsurface conditions, collect data, and supervise drilling and testing programs
* Prepare geotechnical reports, design calculations, and specifications
* Perform QA/QC on geotechnical analysis and design work performed by junior staff
* Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other team members
* Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation, client meetings, and presentations
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field
* 10+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on transportation, infrastructure, energy, and development projects
* Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
* Strong technical skills in geotechnical investigation, analysis, and design
* Experience with geotechnical software packages (e.g., gINT, GeoStudio, PLAXIS)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Proven track record of successful project management and business development
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
