We're seeking a skilled and collaborative Hydrogeologist Project Manager to join our team in Bedford, NH. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage environmental investigations for private and public sector clients at various sites with soil, groundwater, sediment, and soil vapor contamination
- Develop recommendations for environmental strategies, remedial alternatives, and remediation designs
- Coordinate, interpret, and analyze high-resolution geologic, hydrogeologic, and geochemical field and laboratory data
- Design scopes of work, prepare cost estimates, and manage investigations
- Lead groundwater hydraulic and contaminant transport assessments using modeling approaches
- Collaborate with engineering team on remediation system design and implementation
- Prepare and review technical reports, presentations, permit applications, and bid documents
- Interact with clients to understand their needs, deliver exceptional service, and develop/maintain client relationships
- Incorporate sustainable approaches to remediation design to help clients achieve sustainability goals
Requirements:
- 8 to 15 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in hydrogeology (Master's degree preferred)
- Analytical and numerical modeling training and/or experience preferred
- Professional Licensure in New Hampshire or working towards it
- Strong record of academic achievement and professional experience in contaminated site investigations and remediation
- Experience in field investigations and subcontractor management
- Proven ability to deliver strategically focused site characterization and remediation assessments
- Experience with in-situ remediation projects
- Familiarity with NH Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) regulations and USEPA Superfund Regulatory knowledge desired
- Familiarity with ArcGIS, Earth Volumetric Studios (EVS), and EQUIS beneficial
- Project management experience for small, mid-size, and/or large projects
