Senior Manager, Stakeholder Relations PJM
My client is an International IPP working on utility scale solar, wind, storage, T&D, and commercial scale solar projects across the US including but not limited to Hawaii, Colorado, California, and Michigan. Not only have they recently acquired a solar developer which has added 10 GW to their pipeline, but they were also ranked in Microsoft's Best-Managed Companies of 2022. My client has just recently merged with another company which has allowed for an increase in their pipeline, hence why they are looking for some new talent.
The Senior Manager will be responsible for…
- Identify, establish, and maintain relations with key stakeholders, working collaboratively where necessary.
- Lead and handle community and stakeholder relationships acting as the face of the client.
- Will advocate to government officials, public and private institutions, regulatory agencies, social organizations, and other institutions throughout the PJM.
- Align stakeholder engagement with clients PJM market strategy.
- Development state level stakeholder relations and outreach plan to meet regulatory requirements.
The Senior Manager should have the following qualifications…
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- 7-10+ years of experience in stakeholder relations both internal and external stakeholders, public affairs, business development, or a similar field.
- Familiar with energy development, specifically renewable energy development as well as utilities, interconnection, permitting, and contracting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in project or land development, as well as community relations in PJM.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
