Position: Senior Professional Engineer (Water/Wastewater)

Salary: $116k - 176k BASE
Our employee-owned and integrated team of multi-disciplined engineering and design professionals is looking for a Senior Professional Water/Wastewater Engineer who has extensive experience designing and managing a variety of public and private water and wastewater projects, engaging mentorship skills, and aspirations. As a member of our team, you will serve as a lead design engineer for a variety of multi-disciplined, complex public and private water and wastewater projects. You leverage your technical knowledge to coach, mentor, and develop a talented team of engineering professionals.
In addition, you will serve as a project manager and be responsible for evaluating the scope and scheduling requirements of current and projected projects, coordinating planning strategies to ensure successful project execution from conception through construction, and providing quality assurance and quality control.
Responsibilities:
Leading the analysis, design, and construction administration of various water treatment, wastewater treatment, reuse, and resource recovery facility projects. This includes preparing technical reports, plans, and specifications.
Maintaining and utilising a working knowledge of accepted engineering design standards and practices to meet client needs and firm standards.
Ensuring tasks are completed within schedule and budget to meet project requirements.
The qualifications for this position include:
A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
At least 7 years of related water and wastewater treatment experience with a focus on plant process evaluation, design, and construction of municipal water or wastewater treatment plants.
A Georgia Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
A mix of technical experience encompassing municipal water and wastewater process design, treatment plant civil/structural/mechanical/electrical design, treatment process studies, and construction contract administration and management.
