We a partnered with a leading engineering firm with offices across the South East and Texas. They are currently experiencing huge growth in their Houston office and are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to assist on key geotechnical projects. They have had huge success in the last 3 years and have increased both their revenue and headcount substantially. Currently, their backlog of projects consist of mainly large TxDOT projects - where they have been increasing their dominance in this market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects from cradle to grave, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Site Investigations: Conduct thorough site investigations, including soil sampling, analysis, and reporting.
- Design and Analysis: Perform geotechnical design and analysis for foundations, retaining walls, slopes, and other structures.
- Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing technical expertise and solutions to meet their needs.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a proven track record of managing projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in geotechnical software and tools, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or the ability to obtain one within six months.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
