Role description:
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our department in Orlando, Florida. The ideal candidate has excellent knowledge of high-rise, multifamily construction, management skills and an eye for detail. This position will report to the Project Executive.
Duties of the role:
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to high quality craftmanship.
- Lead the project team managing the overall project performance (scope, safety, quality, schedule, cost, and client satisfaction) delivering the project goals and objectives.
- Ability to negotiate contract change orders and potential disputes, defend the contract to best represent the Owner.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing company standards and procedures.
- Manages the project in a manner which enhances the reputation of the company, develop potential future work opportunities through relationship with clients and increases prospects for future work.
- Provide leadership, strategic management and cross-functional teams in implementing project management practices for the Project Management division.
- Develop tools and techniques of every team member.
- Has the experience and can articulate how to find value in various plan and strategic opportunity changes with current drawings avoiding unnecessary costs.
- Manage and train a team of Project Managers (PM) and / or Asst. Project Managers (APM)
- Manage procurement of project plans and permit approvals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree desired. Civil Engineering preferred.
- Five- Ten Years of project management experience
- Advance knowledge in general engineering construction.
