Essential Functions - What You Will Do
- Oversee and manage environmental investigations at active and former industrial sites with soil, groundwater, sediment, and soil vapor contamination with a primary focus on sites in PA within the Land Recycling (Act 2) Program.
- Work with the team to develop recommendations for environmental strategies, remedial alternatives, and remediation designs.
- Collect, interpret, and analyze various types of high resolution geologic, hydrogeologic, and geochemical field and laboratory data using innovative data analysis and visualization approaches.
- Perform groundwater hydraulic and contaminant transport assessments using numeric modeling, geochemical modelling, and mass flux-based approaches.
- Work with the engineering team to design and oversee implementation and construction of remediation systems.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, permit applications, and bid documents.
- Interact with clients to understand their value drivers to deliver exceptional service to assist them to address their environmental challenges.
- Incorporate innovative and creative sustainable approaches to remedial investigation and design and assist our clients attain their sustainability goals.

Competencies - What We Are Looking For
- Interested candidates should have 8 to 15 years relevant experience with a MS degree in geology, hydrogeology, and/or geochemistry.
- Professional Geologist in PA.
- Demonstrated experience and a strong working knowledge of the PA Act 2 Program.
- Ability to demonstrate a strong record of academic achievement or professional experience in relevant areas such as contaminated site investigations, remediation, and/or preparation of plans and specifications.
- Experience in field investigations and subcontractor management related to assessment of of soil, groundwater, sediment and/or vapor intrusion for environmental investigations.
- Proven ability to deliver strategically focused site characterization and remediation assessments leveraging high resolution and mass flux-based methodologies.
- Experience with completion of in-situ remediation projects.
- Experience with federal programs including RCRA and CERCLA is beneficial.
- Familiarity with ArcGIS, Earth Volumetric Studios (EVS), MODFLOW, and EQUIS are beneficial.
- Strong organizational and time management skills combined with the flexibility to work with shifting priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work well as a team member, with a collaborative communication style.
