We have a current opportunity for a Senior Substation Design Engineer on a permanent basis. The position is hybrid flexible out of either Houston, Texas or Dallas, Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical design deliverables (ie: protection and control design and/or physical design)
- Connect and work directly with clients, vendors and subcontractors
- Help mentor junior engineers through performing all aspects of conventional design
- Prepares engineering calculations following standard methods and adheres to budget, schedule and quality requirements
- Shares current knowledge of latest technology trends and processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- A minimum of 5 years related work experience
- Problem solver
- Possesses great communication skills
- EIT or PE License preferred, but not required
