Summary
A leading IPP in the Northeast is in search of a dedicated Senior Project Manager to oversee the development and execution of multiple renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will lead the project life cycle, from early stage development to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards. Based in the greater NYC area, the Senior Project Manager will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive success across distributed utility-scale solar and storage initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to review design and constructability plans for solar and storage projects.
- Lead negotiations and execution of contracts with EPC contractors, managing the RFP process.
- Oversee EPC contractors across multiple projects and regions, ensuring seamless coordination.
- Manage project schedules and critical milestones, maintaining alignment with budgetary constraints.
- Facilitate internal project financing and accounting activities, ensuring smooth coordination.
- Drive vendor selection, procurement, permitting, and interconnection processes for projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or construction management preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in DG scale renewable projects.
- NABCEP Certification or PMP Certification preferred.
- Proficient in project management tools such as Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, and MS Project.
- Strong understanding of the National Electric Code and utility interconnection processes.
- OSHA 10, First Aid & CPR certification preferred.
