A top engineering firm in NYC is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer for their MEP Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and a proficiency in Revit. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer in our team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of mechanical systems for a variety of commercial and industrial projects. This includes HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. You will work closely with our project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure that the design meets the project requirements and adheres to industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
-Leading the design and development of mechanical systems for commercial and industrial projects
-Working with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure project requirements are met
-Developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets
-Providing technical support to team members and clients
-Ensuring all designs comply with industry standards and regulations
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
-Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with experience in MEP engineering preferred
-Proficiency in Revit
-PE license is preferred but not required
-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
