We are working with a leader in T&D and Substation construction, they seeking a highly skilled and experienced Substation Superintendent to join their dynamic team.
As a Substation Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of substation projects. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in managing and leading teams, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise substation construction projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, fostering a culture of safety among the project team.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to meet project milestones.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret project specifications and drawings.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the construction team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring satisfaction with project outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in substation construction and management.
- Strong knowledge of substation construction practices, electrical systems, and relevant codes and standards.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering substation projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
