Our client, a leading construction company with a strong reputation for quality and innovation, is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our team in Denver, Colorado. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Their multifamily construction division is growing a exponentially in Colorado and they have over $500 million slated to start in the next 3 years!
Responsibilities:
- Manage all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, coordination, and supervision of subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers.
- Ensure that all work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and local building codes.
- Monitor and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet project milestones and deadlines.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and identify and address any issues or defects promptly.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the construction team, including training and development of staff.
- Maintain documentation and records, including daily logs, reports, and progress updates.
- Enforce safety protocols and promote a safe working environment at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, preferably in commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, as well as local building codes and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Proven track record of successfully completing construction projects on time and within budget.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other construction documents.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field (preferred).
