Job Summary: The ideal candidate will be proficient in using computer-aided design and drafting software to create technical drawings and plans for various engineering and architectural projects. The CADD Technician will collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to produce accurate and high-quality drawings that adhere to industry standards and project specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize CADD software to create detailed technical drawings, plans, and schematics for engineering and architectural projects.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Modify and revise existing drawings as necessary, based on project changes and feedback.
- Ensure that drawings are accurate, complete, and conform to established standards and guidelines.
- Incorporate design changes and updates into drawings accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a well-organized database of drawings and related project documentation.
- Review and verify drawings for errors and inconsistencies before finalizing them.
- Communicate effectively with team members to address questions and concerns regarding drawings.
- Stay updated on industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in CADD.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and project documentation as needed.
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on design-related matters.
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of drawings.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in using CADD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings.
- Knowledge of engineering and architectural principles, terminology, and standards.
- Ability to interpret and understand project specifications and requirements.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
