As the Technical Director, you will play a pivotal role in bringing their client's visions to life.
- Lead and oversee all technical aspects of live events, ensuring flawless execution from planning to post-production.
- Collaborate closely with the creative and production teams to understand event objectives, technical requirements, and desired outcomes.
- Develop innovative and efficient technical solutions that enhance the overall event experience while considering budgetary constraints.
- Manage and coordinate the procurement, installation, operation, and maintenance of audio, visual, and lighting equipment.
- Direct and supervise technical crews, including audio engineers, lighting designers, video technicians, and other specialists, ensuring a cohesive and harmonious production.
- Conduct comprehensive technical rehearsals, troubleshooting any issues and refining production elements for optimal performance.
- Proven experience as a Technical Director or similar role in the live events industry.
- In-depth knowledge of audiovisual systems, lighting design, rigging, staging, and other technical aspects related to live event production.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard software and hardware for audio, video, and lighting control.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Exceptional organisational and project management abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as live events often require.
