Technical Project Manager
We are currently looking for an experienced technical project manager to join our client's team based in Dallas, Texas. Our client is a well-known player in the audio visual sector and requires someone with excellent leadership skills who can manage complex projects from start to finish.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification relevant to engineering or technology
- At least 5 years of experience managing large-scale AV installations
- PMP certification preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
As the Technical Project Manager, your role will include:
* Oversee all aspects of each assigned project including scope management, resource allocation planning/scheduling/monitoring/reporting.
* Manage budgets & timelines while ensuring accuracy and effectiveness within company guidelines.
* Maintain effective communication between stakeholders throughout entire process (clients/vendors/engineers).
* Possess working knowledge on different types of AV systems such as LVI/LCD displays video walls etc., control system programming like Crestron Control Systems & DSPs; Networking protocols like TCP/IP.
Skills Required:
The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills along with great time-management abilities. They must be able adapt quickly when needed without compromising quality output under tight deadlines. Strong problem-solving ability is essential since they need make quick decisions that could impact multiple departments at once.
