Job Description:
As an Interconnection Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the interconnection of our client's network with external partners, ensuring efficient data exchange and communication. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with interconnection partners, negotiating agreements, and overseeing the implementation of interconnection services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for interconnection with external partners to optimize network performance and reliability.
- Negotiate interconnection agreements with carriers, service providers, and other stakeholders.
- Manage the interconnection process, including provisioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor interconnection performance and address any issues or bottlenecks to ensure seamless connectivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and legal, to support interconnection initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory developments related to interconnection and recommend adjustments to strategies and processes as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, engineering, business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in interconnection management within the power delivery industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successfully managing interconnection agreements.
- In-depth knowledge of interconnection technologies, protocols, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with external partners.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance related to interconnection is preferred.
