Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the transportation practice across California, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects and services.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the transportation practice, including business development, client relationship management, and market expansion.
- Oversee project management activities, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and quality control.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver innovative transportation solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on transportation planning, engineering, and policy issues.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings with clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license certification preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in transportation planning and engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of transportation systems, infrastructure, and policy issues in California.
- Proven ability to manage and deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
