Water Resources Team Director - Kansas City
Our client, a leading architectural engineering firm with over 50 years of experience and an impressive portfolio, is seeking to hire a Water Resources Team Director for their office located in the vibrant city of Kansas. The ideal candidate should be experienced in managing water resources projects and ready to lead our team towards innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a group of engineers specialized in water resources design.
- Develop strong relationships with clients while overseeing project delivery from start to finish.
- Provide mentorship opportunities for junior members within the team as well as fostering collaboration between different offices across multiple disciplines
- Leverage technical expertise on hydrology/hydraulics issues including drainage systems or other relevant topics related to this role.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess;
-Master's degree (MS) Civil/Environmental Engineering focused on Hydrology/Hydraulic/Water Resource fields
-A minimum requirement would include having had at least fourteen(14)+years working directly with National Projects.
-Demonstrable proficiency managing any form of Water Resources team.
-Sound verbal/written communication skillset - enough to communicate effectively both internally & externally.
-Possess excellent knowledge regarding commonly used software such as HEC programs, XPSWMM, MOUSE etc., ,and how each addresses common problems associated with water-resources management.
