Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled WWTP Superintendent to join their team. This permanent position offers a salary of $100,000 up to $150,000 depending on experience.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a superintendent building water/wastewater treatment plants.
- Relevant degree or certification in construction management or related field preferred but not mandatory.
Skills:
Construction Management
The ideal candidate must have proven expertise in managing complex projects from start-up through completion while ensuring quality work within budgetary constraints.
Leadership
As the successful applicant will be responsible for leading teams towards set project goals and objectives; they should possess strong leadership skills that prioritize teamwork among different departments involved during plant construction activities such as electrical contractors, general contractors etc.
Communication Skills
Excellent communication skills are essential when dealing with stakeholders at various levels including clients, vendors/suppliers/subcontractors/engineers/architects/inspectors/regulators & government officials throughout all stages (pre-design planning phase till commissioning stage)of wastewater/water treatment facilities development process which includes design review meetings between engineering/design firms /the local regulating authorities/local council members/state/federal agencies .
Problem Solving Abilities
In order to anticipate problems before they arise it's critical that our selected candidate has excellent problem-solving abilities so any issues can be addressed promptly and effectively without impacting timelines/cost overruns/goals/objectives deadlines established by company/client/stakeholders
