Overview
A nationally recognized consulting engineering firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its growing Healthcare team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex healthcare and mission-critical building projects from design through construction while collaborating with a multidisciplinary engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and support electrical systems for healthcare and commercial building projects.
- Participate in projects from concept development through construction administration.
- Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural teams.
- Prepare design documents, calculations, and project deliverables.
- Assist with problem-solving and technical decision-making throughout project execution.
- Support construction phase activities and client coordination.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
- Understanding of building electrical systems and power distribution.
- 2+ years of experience in a consulting engineering, architectural, or construction environment preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- EIT/FE certification or actively pursuing licensure.
- Experience using Revit and other building design software.
- Previous healthcare project experience is highly desirable.
