Location: Atlanta, GA

We're looking for an Environmental Professional to join a growing consulting team in Atlanta. You'll support and lead due diligence and remediation projects for a diverse client base across commercial, industrial, real estate, public, and private sectors. It's a good fit for someone who enjoys varied project work, client interaction, and seeing sites through from initial assessment to cleanup.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments under ASTM E1527-21 and AAI standards, including site reconnaissance, records review, and interviews.
  • Scope, manage, and carry out Phase II investigations, including soil, groundwater, soil vapor, and sediment sampling.
  • Support remediation projects from site characterization through corrective action, remedial design, implementation, and closure.
  • Oversee field activities, including drilling, well installation, sampling events, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Interpret analytical data and compare results to state and federal regulatory standards.
  • Prepare clear, technically sound reports, work plans, and regulatory submittals.
  • Communicate directly with clients, regulators, and project teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Work on projects across a variety of sectors, including commercial real estate, industrial, retail, municipal, and redevelopment/brownfields.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of environmental consulting experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Phase I ESAs, Phase II investigations, and remediation projects.
  • Working knowledge of Georgia EPD regulations and federal programs such as CERCLA and RCRA.
  • Strong technical writing and data interpretation skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines at the same time.
  • PG, PE, or EIT/GIT is a plus.
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally and regionally for fieldwork.
