A well-established employee-owned engineering and environmental consulting firm is seeking an experienced Environmental Services Manager to lead and grow its environmental practice in the Nashville market. This is a leadership-focused opportunity for an environmental professional who enjoys managing complex projects, mentoring teams, and helping drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop environmental staff, supporting both technical growth and career progression.
- Manage environmental projects from planning through execution, ensuring quality, safety, schedule, and budget objectives are met.
- Collaborate with office leadership and multidisciplinary teams to support strategic growth initiatives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and industry stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while supporting proposal development and project pursuits.
- Coordinate resources across projects to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction.
- Represent the firm within the local community, industry organizations, and professional associations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience managing and executing environmental projects.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams, projects, and client relationships.
- Strong understanding of environmental consulting practices, project financials, quality management, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage clients, regulators, and project teams.
- Experience with business development, client management, and project delivery.
- Tennessee Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license preferred.
- Additional environmental certifications or professional accreditations are a plus.
